Request: Post #1 Redux 1/9/16

Hi guys and dolls!  Today's look was a challenge given to me by @springrosesandspice on Instagram.  I had posted a Throwback Thursday picture of my very first blogger eye makeup look along with the collaboration eye makeup look as a before and after comparison.  The original picture is very dark, it's blurry and, of course, there is a colossal difference between how I apply makeup now as opposed to how I did then.  When @springrosesandspice requested that I re-create the original look because those colors were right up her alley, I accepted the challenge.  Truthfully, this girl is a doll.  She's super sweet, always likes my pics and comments on them.  She's easy to talk with and has great taste in makeup, an all-around gem.  Why would I deny her request?  I was determined to fulfill her request and I hope I did her proud.

I don't know how I was even able to apply makeup back then.  I started this look following my list of products and I couldn't do it.  Cream layered over cream and the colors as a base alone were just not working for me.  It seemed so heavy and difficult to smooth.  Again, that was just the base colors.  What was I thinking back then?  I must have liked the hard life.  It was just not happening.  So, I removed all the makeup and started again from scratch.  I picked out the actual colors from the look and decided to use the green shades only as those are the most prevalent in the original photo.  I added one single different color, the blending shade, and got to work.  I posted the new before and after comparison below, as well.  Do you see the difference?

This is what I used, in the order that I used it, as always.

Sidenote:  Recently, I have started filling in my brows after my eye makeup is complete.  I don't know why, it just happened and I have been doing it for about a week.  That's why I didn't start off in the usual way.
