Ardell 116 Lash Review, Algenist Mini Review, Plum Glam Look 10/5/14

Hi guys!  I created this look with the intent on trying out my new Makeup Geek eyeshadows along with a pair of lashes from Lash Closet.  Seriously, after trying out the Makeup Geek shadows, now I can officially see why everyone is raving about them.  They really are all that and a bag of chips.  I am really thrilled about how long they last, their high quality and intense pigmentation, blendability and just outright awesomeness.  I really love them and I can't wait to purchase more!  You should definitely check them out and see if they are available where you live.  Next year, they will have new products and exciting items.  I am definitely looking forward to it.  I hope Marlena sticks to making great products at great prices.

The Ardell 116 lashes are amazing!  I was really happy with them.  They were a breeze to apply and felt natural to the point where I had to remind myself at the end of the day that I had to take them off.  I loved that they weren't so long that they would brush against my glasses but still long enough to be noticeable.  They weren't too heavy or too bushy and added just the right touch to the look I created.  I will be getting more of these as they were perfect.  I have no complaints and do encourage you to check out Lash Closet to order them.  Lash Closet has amazing customer service and is quick to ship your products out.  Thanks, once again, to Lash Closet for sending me these lashes!  I will continue to incorporate them in different looks to show you all.

I did try out the Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm With Alguronic Acid and the Firming & Lifting Cream With Alguronic Acid.  I will say, at first, it didn't make me feel any different.  So, my skin didn't react with rashes or sensitivity.  However, that changed and my skin felt more sensitive when I applied astringent.  Normally, I don't feel anything but I felt a slight stinging/burning sensation, like it was the first time I was using astringent.  I'm thinking the acid removed some of my older skin and left newer, younger skin underneath exposed.  I didn't experience peeling or redness throughout the duration.  I did stop using it when I noticed the sensitivity to the astringent.  I think I will use this from time to time, not on a daily basis, though.
