Blue Sky After A Storm Look 9/12/13

Hey guys!  Recently, we have been bombarded with a lot of rain and thunderstorms.  This is such a good thing because we have been in the middle of an excessive drought for a very long time.  For this look, I was trying to interpret the clear blue sky with dark storm clouds still in sight.  Does the weather ever impact the colors you choose for your makeup look?  Let me know in your comments.  Don't forget to subscribe!  :)

I started out by applying Illamasqua Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel to my face.  I filled in my brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil in Brunette set them with Clear Brow Gel.  I used Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer to my face, as well.  I used Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion on my eyes.  Using a small eye shadow brush, I applied Lorac Shimmer eye shadow to the inner eye lid.  Next, I took Lorac Smokin' eye shadow and blended it out on the brow bone.  I used MAC Haunting eye shadow (satin) on the middle of the eye lid.  Then, I used Lorac Dreamy eye shadow on the outer corner.  I blended Smokin' and Dreamy out so there would be no harsh lines.  I added Lorac Au Naturel eye shadow under the brow.  For a little more punch, I took MAC Hi-Def Cyan Chromagraphic Pencil and blended it out with Haunting on the lower lash line.  I used Wet N Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner in Black on the upper lash line.  I completed the eyes by coating my lashes with Benefit They're Real Beyond Mascara.

On the rest of my face, I applied Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation in shade 127.  Under my eyes, using a concealer brush, I applied Make Up For Ever Full Cover in shade 5.  I set these products with MAC Pressed Blot Powder in Medium Dark.  To add a little more dimension to my face, I applied Stila + Dancing With The Stars Bronzing Powder to the hollows of my cheeks.  I used MAC Immortal Flower Powder Blush (satin) on my cheeks and made sure to blend out any color difference between the bronzer and blush.  On my lips, I used NYX Mauve Lipliner Pencil and MAC Liquer Lipglass.
