Blue Butterfly Look 8/14/13

Hi guys!  Today's look was inspired by a game my daughter is playing.  In the game, she captured this beautiful bright blue butterfly.  The colors were the inspiration behind this look.  Take a peek...

I filled in my brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil in Brunette.  All over my face, I applied Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Sheer Tint in Light/Medium.  I used Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat over the entire eye area.  Next, I applied Shiseido Hydro Powder Eye Shadow in shade H10, Languid Lagoon to the eye lid and ever so slightly blended it out on the crease.  On the outer 2/3 eye lid, I packed on MAC Freshwater eye shadow (veluxe pearl).  On the inner 1/3 eye lid, I packed on MAC Parrot eye shadow (frost).  All over the eye lid up to the brow bone, I brushed on MAC Aqua eye shadow (matte).  On the outer corner, using a blending brush, I applied MAC Plumage eye shadow (matte).  On the lower lash line and water line, I applied Sephora Waterproof Retractable Eyeliner in Turquoise and blended out the edge.  To define the upper lash line, I applied Loreal Lineur Intense in Black.  On both upper and lower lashes, I applied Benefit Beyond Mascara in They're Real.

For the rest of my face, I applied BareMinerals Ready SPF 20 Foundation in Medium Beige (another sample, so probably not my color, but again, I have no problem trying it out).  On my cheeks, I applied Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful with a blush brush.  MAC Pressed Blot Powder in Medium Dark was dusted on lightly all over my face.  The lips were lined with NYX Peekaboo Neutral Lipliner Pencil and filled in with NYX Glam Lipstick Aqua Luxe in Holistic.
