MAC Riri Woo lipstick

Hi guys!

I wanted to just touch on the new MAC Riri Woo lipstick.  First off, let me tell you that I do not have Ruby Woo, which is the inspiration for Riri Woo.  I do have MAC Russian Red, which is another blue-based lipstick, and is similar to both Ruby Woo and Riri Woo.  I have worn Riri Woo for the past couple of days.  I think it's a beautiful red that would look fantastic on different skin tones.  It is bold without being over-powering.  The texture is something I have grown to appreciate.  I normally prefer a more creamy texture.  However, the Retro Matte formula, despite being on the dry side when you apply it, is very long lasting.  I don't feel the urge to lick my lips throughout wear.  The color payoff is excellent and you don't need to use a ton of product to get a great result.

There have been some who have commented about it flaking.  I didn't have this experience.  That may be because I didn't touch it once I applied it.  I didn't lick my lips or smoosh my lips together to blend or feel it on my lips.  I do recommend using a primer or a lip balm if you have experienced the flaking issue.  I used mine without any primer or lip balm.

I recommend using this gorgeous color and making it your go-to red in your collection.

Did you buy MAC Riri Woo?  What did you think?  What is your favorite red lipstick?  Let me know in your comments.
