Not Quite A Unicorn Look 6/2/16

Hi everyone! I'm back with a bang. It has been so long since I've posted. I have really missed writing my thoughts on here. I do hope you are following my Instagram page, @justblenditout, because I am super active there. In truth, I receive so much more interaction there over other platforms. I feel very encouraged and inspired. There is so much talent. It's humbling to be reminded that there is so much I have to learn and skills that need to be improved upon.

I started this blog to motivate myself to go outside the box, to vary my combinations, and to grow as an artist. Today's look is one that does that. I used mostly matte products and really focused on blending. Matte shades need more finess, more attention, than shimmers. So basically, apply, blend, apply, blend, until you reach the desired effect/opacity. Today's colorful look features two limited edition Kat Von D eye shadow palettes: Pastel Goth and Mi Vida Loca 2. (Please ignore my hair, as I had just gotten out of work and didn't do anything to it.) Check out what else was used to create the complete look.
